Существуют две позиции видения на отношения между детьми и муниципальным районом. С одной стороны, дети нуждаются в безопасности от деструктивных последствий миграционных процессов. С другой стороны, детям должна быть предоставлена возможность самостоятельно и безопасно перемещаться по пространству муниципалитета, чтобы продуктивно использовать, предлагаемые муниципальным образованием коммуникативные возможности. Это приводит к формированию такой инфраструктурной среды муниципального района, которая не только бы приносила удовольствие детям, но и оказывала бы на них воспитывающее воздействие. В качестве иллюстрации этого представлены муниципальные проекты бельгийского города Гента.</p> </abstract>      <trans-abstract xml:lang="en"> <p>the chapter examines the pedagogical influence of municipal space on children’s socialization. There are two points of view on the relationship between children and the municipal area. On the one hand, children need safety from destructive consequences of migration processes. On the other hand, children should be given the opportunity to move around the space of the municipality independently and safely in order to productively use communication opportunities offered by the municipality. This leads to the creation of an infrastructural environment in the municipal area that would not only bring pleasure to children, but would also have an educational effect on them.
