На основе теории ригидности под угрозой (Threat-Rigidity Theory, TRT) описываются два первичных механизма ригидности – ограничение информационной обработки и централизация контроля; совещание рассматривается как контекст, в котором хронический операциональный стресс запускает автоматические ригидные реакции. Когнитивный стиль менеджера рассматривается как модератор интенсивности этих реакций. Обосновываются теоретические требования к многоуровневому коучинговому инструменту диагностики и коррекции ригидности, ключевым элементом которого является оперативный инструмент самоприменения в момент принятия решения, основанный на принципах когнитивно-поведенческого коучинга.
