this paper proposes to investigate whether the laying of submarine telecommunications cables on the seafloor needs special protection of international legal mechanisms. The paper considers how submarine cables are currently being secured at the international level and challenges for the protection of submarine cables including war law.

в статье предлагается исследование вопроса, требуется ли особая защита посредством международно-правовых для прокладки подводных телекоммуникационных кабелей по морскому дну. В работе рассматривается, как в настоящее время обеспечивается безопасность подводных кабелей на международном уровне, а также проблемы, связанные с защитой подводных кабелей, включая военное право.
