<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"> <p>this chapter discusses the concept of «ecosystem», widely used in business and strategic management, focusing on its well-known definitions in the literature, as well as the relationships between the concepts of «system», «value chain», and «supply chain». To identify the relationship between these concepts, a graphical visualization is proposed, demonstrating the distinctive feature (characteristic property) of ecosystem from other organizational forms of business and other constructs.
