Abstract

The article explores the history and features of the development of ceramic art in Russian folk culture using the example of the Dymkovsky toy. The article examines the types of folk toys, traditional techniques for creating clay products, features of decoration and symbols, which are often embodied in folk sculpture. The article also provides a variant of applying the acquired knowledge in practice with art school student.
