Abstract

В статье представлен анализ деятельности Вологодской областной картинной галереи на основе опыта прохождения ознакомительной практики студентом, обучающимся на направлении, связанном с культурологическим образованием. Рассматривается история создания, структура и основные направления работы галереи. Особое внимание уделяется характеристике фондов, постоянных экспозиций и временных выставок. Описывается специфика работы различных подразделений учреждения, профессиональные компетенции сотрудников и особенности организации музейной деятельности. Представлены результаты практической работы с библиотечным фондом и опыт создания информационно-просветительских материалов. Делаются выводы о значимости полученного опыта для профессионального становления специалиста в сфере культуры.
