Abstract

Статья посвящена вопросу исследования инфинитивных конструкций в американском публицистическом дискурсе. Изучаемые конструкции используются в языке прессы как средство достижения информационной компрессии. В работе представлен анализ частотности употребления разных видов инфинитивных конструкций и их некоторых особенностей. Материал для исследования отобран из американских публицистических статей методом сплошной выборки по критерию наличия в них данной инфинитивной конструкции.
