Abstract

Статья посвящена изучению памятников фараона XVIII династии Хатшепсут (1490–1468 до н.э.). Авторы рассматривают ее знаменитые изображения в заупокойном храме царицы в Дейр-эль-Бахри. Выясняя, насколько точно сохранившиеся памятники могли соответствовать реальному облику Хатшепсут, авторы считают, что царица не обладала красивой внешностью. Ее изображения и подчеркнутая связь с культами нескольких богов должны были подчеркнуть легитимность власти Хатшепсут.
