this article examines the impact of military operations on the functioning of the education system during the Great Patriotic War. As a result of the study, the process of adapting the educational system to military realities was analyzed, including the participation of schools and universities in preparing the population for combat operations, as well as the impact of military operations on the development of scientific research.
