Annotation
this chapter examines the relationship between the predominant type of temperament of high school students and the choice of their educational profile and their professional preferences. Using the methods of E. P. Ilyin and Ya. Strelyau, the characteristics of the nervous system and the predominant type of temperament of eleventh-grade students of the Murmansk Polytechnic Lyceum of three different educational profiles are determined. The results of diagnostics and conclusions of the study are described.
