This article examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the budget and resources of the Chuvash Republic's healthcare system, as well as the issue of resource reallocation. The study utilized statistical data analysis, a comparative review of regional reports, and a summary of practical healthcare experience. Key findings include the need for flexible budget planning, strengthening primary care, and building reserves. The authors' contribution includes recommendations for improving the resilience of the healthcare system.
