This article provides a comprehensive doctrinal analysis of the civil liability regime for the unauthorized use of intellectual property assets such as trademarks. The study focuses on the implementation of the optional provisions of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation governing the substantive legal grounds for protecting exclusive rights, including sanctions for the seizure of counterfeit tangible media and restitution measures.
