Antibacterial Properties of Common Plants

Annotation

In this study, we present the results of a comparative analysis of the antibacterial activity of aqueous extracts of common plants: garlic (Allium sativum), onion (Allium cepa), and horseradish (Armoracia rusticana). The aim of the study was to evaluate the phytoncidal properties of these plants in the context of searching for natural alternatives to synthetic antibiotics amid rising antibiotic resistance.
