this study analyzes the species composition and certain ecological characteristics of lizards (Lacertilia) distributed within the territory of the Aktau-Tomdi State Reserve in the Central Kyzylkum. The studies were conducted in 2024–2026 in various biotopes using the route method. As a result, 12 species belonging to the families Agamidae, Geckonidae, Lacertidae, and Varanidae were recorded in the area.
