- Abstract:
- The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a global crisis affecting not only the physical but also the mental health of people, including children and adolescents. The article examines the impact of the pandemic on the psychosomatic state of young people, including the effects of isolation, distance learning, and fear of infection. It is noted that children at a vulnerable stage of development are more susceptible to negative effects on mental health. The main factors contributing to mental well-being, such as parental support, physical activity and social support, as well as harmful factors such as emotional reactivity and excessive information, are considered.
