    Abstract:
    The chapter examines the promotion and popularization of small towns as a relevant approach to sustainable tourism development, enabling the redistribution of tourist flows from overcrowded metropolitan areas to lesser-known yet attractive destinations. The launch of projects that create new hubs of attraction contributes to the revitalization of territories through the revival of local crafts and support for authentic culture, the creation of new routes, the strengthening of territorial identity, and the transformation of towns into recognizable brands.

  • Current state and development trends of domestic tourism

    Abstract:
    The presented article provides a multidimensional analysis of the current state and determinants of the development of the domestic tourism market of the Russian Federation in 2026 from the perspective of institutional and behavioral approaches. The relevance of the study is determined by the completion of the phase of extensive recovery of the industry and the transition to the stage of structural adjustment in the context of macroeconomic instability and transformation of consumer patterns. The empirical base consists of data from industry regulators (Rostourism in the structure of the Ministry of Economic Development), analytical materials from ATOR, PCT, and international surveys from Research and Markets.
