- The study of underwater sports broadens the readers' horizons and enriches their understanding of the possibilities of active recreation and maintaining health through unique ways of interacting with nature. The article examines the history of the emergence and development of underwater sports, describes the main directions and their features, and introduces the reader to the necessary technical equipment used in the sport. The authors pay special attention to safety issues and environmental ethics in underwater sports.
