    Abstract:
    The article explores the complex relationship between the growing economic inequality in Russia and the transformation of the insurance market. It reveals that high-income groups actively use tools such as comprehensive life insurance, investment products, and medical insurance. The author argues that the market is responding to the growing economic inequality by polarizing offerings, creating an "insurance gap." To address this issue, the article proposes modernizing the social protection system by introducing incentives for insurance coverage for low-income individuals and developing digital platforms to enhance financial literacy.
