    Abstract. This article focuses on the impact of advanced and science-intensive pre-revolutionary industries on the progressive dynamics of social relations within specific geographical boundaries. The article highlights the qualitative differences between the Kazan Chemical Plant of the Krestovnikov Brothers and other regional industries that existed in the Kazan Province before 1855.
