- Abstract:
- The chapter provides a theoretical justification for the need to implement the portfolio method in secondary school art classes, drawing on the example of teaching decorative and applied arts. It examines the main types of portfolios and their content in accordance with the goals, objectives, and expected outcomes of the learning process. The authors describe in detail a psychological and pedagogical experiment that confirms the effectiveness of the portfolio method in art lessons. The experiment revealed a significant increase in the level of practical skills proficiency among students in the experimental group with the systematic use of the portfolio method.
