- Abstract:
- The article examines the use of the situational modeling method in teaching cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia combat fighting techniques. The necessity of moving from predominantly reproducing techniques under standard conditions to performing training actions in situations close to operational and service activities is substantiated. A lesson structure is proposed, which includes setting the task, assessing the situation, choosing a lawful course of action, performing the technique under safe conditions, and subsequent analysis. The levels of complexity of the simulated situations and the criteria for assessing the cadets’ preparedness are identified. It is noted that situational modeling should be combined with the technical practice of techniques, safety monitoring, and an analysis of the legal grounds for the use of physical force.
