    Abstract:
    Based on survey data, the study examines young people's views on traditional forms of marriage, specifically matchmaking (*gelin tovma*) and arranged marriages. It assesses the extent to which patriarchal attitudes persist in partner selection under the influence of older relatives. The study demonstrates that the institution of arranged marriages is a significant factor in the transformation of the modern Turkmen family, evolving from a rigid, archaic model into a hybrid form where the opinions of the bride and groom are taken into account but remain subject to parental approval.

    Abstract:
    В данной статье на материале деревни Кирюшкино Федоровского района РБ рассматривается свадебная обрядность чувашей. В ходе данного исследования автором было прослежено, как отражается говор в свадебных песнях, используемых на разных этапах свадьбы: в начале свадьбы, в конце свадьбы, при переходе в другой дом, во время движения по улице, перед воротами дома нового родственника. Автором обнаружены в свадебных песнях диалектные слова, которые представляют собой слова разных лексико-семантических групп: это и продукты питания, напитки, термины родства и другие лексико-семантические группы слов.
