    This article analyzes key aspects of patriotic education of youth in the current context. Various concepts of defining patriotic education and its influence on the formation of national self-identity are explored. Key aspects of the impact on young people's national identity are analyzed, and effective approaches and strategies for patriotic education are identified. The increased influence of potential dangers and distortions related to the transformation of true national ideals through the introduction of false patriotic concepts is noted.

    Статья посвящена вопросу о роли нравственно-патриотического воспитания в развитии личности ребенка дошкольного возраста. Авторы акцентируют внимание на воспитании позитивного восприятия родины, уважении к её истории, культуре и традициям. Важнейшие цели процесса – формирование чувства гордости за страну, развитие морали и гражданского сознания. Среди ключевых задач выделяют освоение основ национальной культуры, знакомство с историческими фактами, воспитание уважения к семейным традициям и активизацию участия родителей в образовательном процессе. Особое значение уделяется использованию игровых форм работы, художественному творчеству, экскурсиям и чтению художественных произведений. Эффективность воспитания оценивается через наблюдение за изменениями поведения детей, их стремлениями помогать другим, защищать окружающую среду и соблюдать правила общественного порядка. Формирование активной жизненной позиции ребенка, способствующего гармоничному развитию общества, является приоритетной задачей педагогической деятельности детского сада и семьи.

    Abstract:
    National self-consciousness is structured in such a way that it is based on historical memory. The past must be presented to the present and experienced by contemporaries. National self-consciousness is formed not so much by science, but rather by the political will of the ruling and intellectual elite. The core of national self-consciousness is formed by the epic mythos. Preservation of national mythology is no less important for the country's sovereignty than preservation of natural resources. Among the most significant political events that determine the national self-consciousness of the current generation of Russian citizens is the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War over Nazi Germany. The chapter analyzes the attitude to Victory Day in different periods of Russian political history: from military heroism to labor enthusiasm (Stalin and Khrushchev periods); giving state status to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, as the second most important national holiday after the Great October Socialist Revolution (Brezhnev, Gorbachev periods); under the slogan «war without embellishment» – denigration of the results of the Great Patriotic War» (Yeltsin period); the establishment of Victory Day as the main national holiday (Putin period).

    The key tasks that the educational and youth policies of almost all regions of the Russian Federation solve are the identification and formation of the civic identity of modern youth. The chapter reveals the concept of «civic identity» and its structural components. The authors present the results of a pilot study aimed at identifying the level of civic identity formation among students in new regions of the Russian Federation. As well as the need to identify and introduce into educational and educational activities socio-cultural practices that allow young people to form new models of social behavior and multi-vector scenarios of life strategies.

    Abstract:
    The chapter is devoted to the problems of forming the national identity of modern Russian youth, which is defined as an important condition for increasing the level of legal culture of society. There has been a tendency towards a decrease in the general level of culture, an increase in infantilism, and the presence of gaps in the moral consciousness of a significant part of young people. According to the authors, without overcoming these negative aspects it is impossible to build a truly legal state and form a civil society. As a condition for increasing the legal culture of modern Russian society, a system of state-patriotic education is proposed, designed to develop a sense of national pride and professional responsibility.

    Analysis of the psychological aspects of the formation of patriotism in modern Russia is associated with the need to take into account the maximum number of factors in the successful educational policy of the state. Among the basic ideas of the author are the following: interethnic tolerance is formed only on the basis of national identity; patriotism begins with respect for one's nation, one's people; it is necessary to take into account the laws of formation of optimal tolerance; patriotism is a consequence of the presence in the structure of personal characteristics of optimal interethnic tolerance.

  • About Modern Factors of Yakut Identity at the Turn of the XX–XXI Centuries

    Abstract:
    In the conditions of the historically established ethnic diversity in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the complex development of market relations and the strengthening of the role of the ethnic factor, the problems of ethno-social adaptation of the indigenous population arises. The purpose of the article is to study the structure of a person's self-identification and to research various forms of identity such as ethno-cultural, linguistic and ethnic. One of the main sources for studying the problems of ethnicity was both various statistical materials, data from an ethno-sociological survey, and field ethnographic materials obtained by the author of the article in the course of expeditionary and stationary work in the uluses of the republic over the last quarter of the XX century – the beginning of the XXI century. When writing the work, the author applied both methods of field research in order to collect initial material, as well as theoretical and methodological ones. The article concludes that if there is a problem with the functioning of the Yakut language and its loss by a part of the urban Yakut population, it does not lead to the loss of Yakut identity. On the contrary, partly the loss of their native language by people of Yakut nationality, as it turned out, leads to the strengthening of their ethno-cultural identity. The dynamic of the number of Yakuts shows that the ethnic factor plays an important role in the identification of a person. The results of the work confirm the thesis that ethnicity, compensating for the weakening of civic identity, becomes a defining stratifying category, acquiring the ethnopolitical rank. In general, despite the influence of various factors, the materials of ethno-sociological studies in Yakutia showed a high degree of manifestation of both ethnic and ethno-cultural identity, and partly linguistic.
