- Today, corruption has spread its influence far beyond the borders of a single state, necessitating the development of international legal regulation to combat it that takes this aspect into account. At a time when corruption-related crimes pose a full-fledged threat to international security and stability, the negative consequences of which will undermine the importance of the state and the law, as well as its potential, international legal regulation continues to face a number of challenges, demonstrating the relevance of this topic. Of particular importance in this context are the problems of defining and classifying corruption offenses.
A combination of general and specific scientific methods (systems approach, comparative legal approach, etc.) was applied in conducting the study.
