    Abstract:
    The key tasks that the educational and youth policies of almost all regions of the Russian Federation solve are the identification and formation of the civic identity of modern youth. The chapter reveals the concept of «civic identity» and its structural components. The authors present the results of a pilot study aimed at identifying the level of civic identity formation among students in new regions of the Russian Federation. As well as the need to identify and introduce into educational and educational activities socio-cultural practices that allow young people to form new models of social behavior and multi-vector scenarios of life strategies.

    Abstract:
    The relevance of the development of the concept of orphaned children’s civic education is justified in the article. The concept is based on the provision on the possibility of forming the subject citizenship of orphaned children in the museum environment. The main content of the concept is disclosed: the description of methodological approaches on which the concept is based is presented. A number of patterns of the process of orphaned children’s civic education have been identified, principles of civic education have been defined and revealed, conditions and rules for their implementation have been described.
