    Abstract:
    В статье рассматриваются правовая основа деятельности служб медиации в специальных учебно-воспитательных учреждениях открытого и закрытого типа, их место в структуре указанных учреждений, соотношение медиатора и педагога-психолога. Автор приходит к выводу о необходимости детального урегулирования связи службы медиации с социально-психологической службой, а также закрепления возможности участия родителей в процедуре медиации в качестве конфликтующей стороны.

    When resolving disputes, family members, having reached an impasse, usually either solve everything on their own and subject themselves to an emotional shake-up, not only themselves, but also others, or go to court, which spends even more resources, often not getting the result they expected. The mediation service considered in the article, which deals with issues of family conflicts, is designed for such a way of resolving disputes, in which both sides of the conflict are included in resolving the issues that arise without spending extra emotional and material resources.

    Conflicts that are often faced not only by students, but also by all participants of an educational institution (teachers, parents, administration) pose a threat and a sufficiently serious risk to a psychologically comfortable and safe educational environment. To minimize the negative consequences of conflicts and resolve them with the most constructive outcome, school mediation services are created, which, through certain rules and technologies, contribute to resolving the differences of conflict participants. The article examines the activities of school mediation services.
