    Abstract:
    The relevance of the study is associated with the growing importance of digital technologies for ensuring the growth of the contribution of the business sector to the sustainable development of the Russian economy. Research methods: analytical, comparative, deductive, inductive, systemic. The study identified current trends in the digitalization of the Russian business sector (the predominant distribution of cloud services, big data-based solutions, the Internet of Things while maintaining a wary attitude towards artificial intelligence technologies, "digital twin"), and identified problems associated with the concentration of investments in digitalization projects in the financial and IT sectors, the ongoing shortage of solutions from Russian developers, the need for grant, advisory and educational support for entrepreneurs.

    Abstract:
    Статья посвящена теме изучения возможности достижения операционного совершенства в вопросе устойчивости цепочки поставок с использованием современных концепций. Данная тема в наши дни актуальна, поскольку устойчивость управления цепочкой поставок напрямую влияет на эффективность предприятий. В статье дано определение устойчивости цепочки поставок и перечислены рассматриваемые современные концепции, а также приводится описание примеров различных вариантов интеграции современных концепций, основанных на работах нескольких ученых. Поднимается ряд вопросов, которые необходимо изучить в будущем для углубленного понимания проблемы. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы предприятиями и частными фирмами на практике, независимо от того, в какой сфере деятельности ведется работа.

    The modern world develops at an incredible speed. The old is being replaced with new, better and more optimal one. The article examines digitalization which is a new trend in the formation of the bases of various social life’s spheres, which has its own characteristics, advantages and weaknesses. Most of all, it affects the economy. Digitalization can both improve the efficiency of economic activity and cause se-rious, large-scale threats and risks that can have a huge, significant impact on the structure of the economy. Understanding the consequences of the introduction of information technologies as new models of production methods is essential. This article is devoted to the study of the role of digitalization in the development of the economy and its direct impact within the Russian Federation.
