  • The legal nature of terrorism and its manifestations

    Abstract:
    Currently, issues related to the study of terrorism are of particular importance in the context of the special military operation. Russia is regularly subjected to terrorist attacks by the Kiev regime, which include systematic shelling of Russian territories, sabotage of infrastructure, and attacks on government officials and civilians. To develop effective measures to combat terrorism, it is crucial to understand its essence. This article provides a legal definition of terrorism through its various manifestations. Using research methods such as logical-structural and functional analysis, the author concludes that terrorism is not only a legal phenomenon, but also a socio-political, ideological, and psychological one.

    Нам представилось возможным в настоящей публикации остановиться на изучении психологических особенностей поведения и состояния личности, вовлеченной в террористическую деятельность. Известно, что террористическая деятельность является особо опасной антисоциальной, преступной. Организация профилактики и противодействия терроризму могут быть основаны на понимании социально-психологических механизмов поведения личности террориста. Не менее важно, на наш взгляд, для успешного противодействия террористической деятельности обладание достаточно сформированной профессиональной компетентностью в области психологической диагностики личности террориста у представителей правоохранительных органов, вовлеченных в систему этого противодействия.

    Abstract: In the course of the study of the problems of legal regulation of the ethno-conflict sphere, the author of the article conducted a survey (using the methods of questionnaires and in-depth interviews) of 20 experts who are highly qualified specialists in the field of countering ethno-national conflicts, studied the results of mass sociological research, analyzed scientific works and media publications. As a result, the most effective legal measures for regulating the prevention and suppression of ethnic and national conflicts were identified, and the main directions for their improvement in the interests of strengthening the Russian statehood were identified.
