    Abstract:
    The rapid development of digital technologies certainly contributes to positive changes in any industry, certainly covering the field of education. This transition was called the "digital revolution". This is, first of all, the transition of mass education to high-quality education, which is conditioned by the formulation and solution of new tasks in the educational sphere. The article examines the process of integrating digital technologies into the educational process, the transition to a new stage of the digital age, defines some concepts and forecasts the prospects for the development of media education.
