    The expansion of the modern information space, the appeal to «eternal» values, and the rethinking of the priorities of existence are having an impact on society. And here, music can have a huge impact; on the one hand, it is so natural to the surrounding world, and on the other, it demands attentive listening and reflection. The foundation of a child's musical education and training lies not only in developing their abilities but also in developing a musical mindset, which largely determines the success of a young musician's professional career.

    Abstract:
    Статья посвящена проблеме музыкально-творческого развития учащихся ДМШ, важной составляющей которого является образное мышление. В его развитии большую роль может играть фортепианное обучение с широким применением различных психологических механизмов, например таких, как образные ассоциации. Использование их на уроках фортепиано в ДМШ способствует не только музыкальному развитию учащихся, но и активизирует их мышление, воображение, творческую инициативу, что особенно актуально в наши дни. Рассматриваются свойства и виды образных ассоциаций, приёмы их использования в работе над музыкальным произведением.
