- The problem of preserving and strengthening the health of students and, in particular, students, is still one of the urgent tasks facing society. The introduction of wellness fitness programs in the conditions of higher education is a strategy that is just beginning to develop and at this stage is not ubiquitous. The aim of the study is to improve the motor qualities of students during elective classes organized taking into account their interests and to reduce the number of colds among students during the academic year. The object of the study is the educational and training process planned for first-year students of the Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute. To achieve this goal, the authors used the following research methods: methods of critical study of sources, empirical research methods and the method of formalization.
