    Abstract:
    The article discusses the application of graph theory to modeling and analysis of complex systems in economics and management. The relevance of the study is due to the increasing complexity of the relationships between economic agents, logistics hubs, financial flows and management structures. The paper presents the basic concepts of graph theory adapted to applied problems, and also shows the mechanisms of their use in the analysis of supply chains, organizational hierarchies, project management and corporate networks. Based on generalized models, it is demonstrated how graph representations make it possible to identify bottlenecks, assess the stability of systems, and optimize decision-making processes. The results obtained emphasize the interdisciplinary value of discrete mathematics in modern socio-economic research.

    Abstract:
    The authors note that in the context of digitalization and transnational information exchange, it is of particular importance to protect the rights of holders of exclusive rights to intellectual property results used on the Internet through recognition of rights, their state registration and fixation through non-governmental instruments, contacting the competent authorities in case of violation and applying liability measures for their violation. Based on this, the authors conclude that effective protection of intellectual property on the Internet requires not only the integrated application of existing national mechanisms, but also coordinated international legal efforts aimed at overcoming jurisdictional barriers, balancing the interests of copyright holders and users, as well as adapting traditional legal structures to the realities of the digital economy.

    The authors note that the current stage of development of digital technologies and the global Internet has led to a profound transformation of the system of turnover and protection of intellectual property objects, increased access to digital content and easier copying have led to an increase in the number of copyright violations, including illegal reproduction, distribution and modification of works. The authors draw attention to the cross-border nature of the Internet, which creates additional difficulties in determining the applicable law and jurisdiction of competent authorities, and the anonymity of users and the lack of uniform international regulatory standards make it difficult to implement effective protection mechanisms.     Abstract:
    Over the past three years, neural networks and other artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have become one of the most discussed topics in education, from school to university. This article examines the main uses of neural networks in the educational process, analyzing their key benefits (personalization, automation of everyday tasks, expanding access to knowledge) and risks (ethical issues, substitution of independent work, digital divide, unreliable information). Based on an analysis of modern scientific and educational literature, it shows how neural networks are changing education and what conditions are necessary for their safe and effective implementation. The research methods include analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, comparison of approaches by different authors, and practical examples.

The development of Android and iOS has led to the emergence of two main approaches to mobile software development: native and cross-platform. Each has its own characteristics that determine development speed, performance, and the quality of user experience. The choice of approach determines not only companies' costs but also the ability of services to meet user requirements.     The article discusses the issue of introducing virtual laboratories and simulations into the educational process of higher education institutions, in particular, in teaching information technology and computer science. The author does not agree with the approach in which virtual environments are positioned as a direct replacement for traditional physical practices. Instead, the need for a transition to a complementary or hybrid model is justified, where virtual and physical laboratories are used together, reinforcing each other's advantages. The paper analyzes the unique advantages of each format: tactile experience and working with physical limitations in real laboratories, as well as the safety, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of virtual simulators. It describes a two-stage hybrid learning model that combines theoretical modeling in a virtual environment with subsequent practice on real equipment.     Abstract:
    This article investigates the problem of developing communicative skills among students in the system of secondary vocational education (SVE), which are crucial for their competitiveness in the modern labor market. It argues that project-based learning serves as the most effective pedagogical tool for fostering this set of competencies. The study analyzes the structural components of communicative competence and the stages of project work, revealing a direct correlation between them. The theoretical framework is illustrated by a practical example of implementing an interdisciplinary project at the North Ossetian Pedagogical College. It is proven that project-based activities create conditions for an authentic learning environment, in which communicative skills are developed in a comprehensive and situational-natural way.

    The article addresses the pressing issue of skilled labor shortage in the metallurgical industry, caused by workforce aging and declining youth interest in industrial professions. An innovative approach to training future metallurgists is proposed through the introduction of the course "Formation of Professional Self-Awareness of the Future Metallurgist," based on the author's "Self-Awareness Development System." Particular emphasis is placed on developing personal maturity, conscious career choice, and a stable professional self-concept among students. To address workforce attrition, the retraining of older specialists via the "Instructor of Special Additional Education Courses" program is also proposed, fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer. The implementation of these initiatives could enhance the attractiveness of the profession, strengthen education-industry collaboration, and ensure sustainable development of the metallurgical sector

  • Linguistic-Axiological Peculiarities of Fiction as a Translatological Issue (Based on Short Stories by Ghanaian Writer Ama Ata Aidoo)

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to linguistic analysis of two short stories by Ghanaian writer Ama Ata Aidoo from the standpoint of linguistic axiology and translation studies. The research helps identify language and text markers of the author’s expressive means in 20 contexts taken from the short stories “For Whom Things Did not Change” and “Other Versions” from the short story collection “No Sweetness Here”. The axiologically filled contexts are identified based on the writer’s system of values as outlined by Russian and foreign literary critics. The research suggests that it is possible to delineate various language units functioning on all levels of the language – from phonology and graphics up to syntax. The axiologically marked units are then analysed from the perspective of translation studies in order to understand how the writer’s system of values can be expressed while translating her works into the Russian language. It is noteworthy that Ama Ata Aidoo uses a wide range of expressive means, often combining them, in order to convey her system of values. She also uses intertextual elements and titles for the same purpose. That said, the Russian translations of these short stories significantly transform the original texts, with some of these transformations being rather questionable. Nonetheless, the research makes it possible to assume that the system of transformations undertaken by translators helps them achieve the transmission of Ama Ata Aidoo’s values in Russian texts rather successfully.

    The chapter is devoted to the application of problem-based learning technologies in the study of natural science disciplines. The problem-based approach contributes not only to the acquisition of knowledge, but also to the formation of necessary skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and high adaptability to changing conditions. It is known that in the process of solving a problem, students can not only find answers to the questions posed, but also analyze the situation, put forward hypotheses, check various options and draw conclusions. This develops analytical abilities and activates cognitive processes, which are the basis for further education and professional activity. The chapter discusses some aspects of the formation of a biological conceptual framework. It is noted that problem-based learning is based on the development of critical thinking among teachers. Interactive methods are widely used in problem-based learning. In addition, the approach in which assignments are linked to real-life situations or scientific activities helps students see the practical application of the knowledge they receive, which contributes to their deeper understanding and memorization. Creating conditions for polylogue, discussions and dialogues within the classroom improves communication skills and develops creative thinking.

    The article considers the current state of the water supply system of the Krasnodar Territory from the point of view of municipal infrastructure management, special attention is paid to the problem of network wear. Statistical data on the provision of the population with water, the scale and age of the network infrastructure, as well as the dynamics of reducing network wear over the last decade are presented. The main problems associated with high physical wear of water supply networks and its consequences for management were analysed: an increase in accidents, significant water losses, financial difficulties of enterprises and the need for large-scale modernisation. The measures taken by regional authorities to update networks (modernisation programs, investments, concession agreements and national projects) and management approaches to solving the identified problems are described.
