    Abstract:
    This article examines the issues of research on the functioning and development of state authorities of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War. This period of development of our society is one of the most dramatic periods in our history, when all the social institutions of the new society were tested for strength, and first of all the state authorities – the Soviets, which in the harsh war years assumed the heavy burden of military and economic tasks, played a crucial role in ensuring social and cultural needs the population, creating the necessary conditions to achieve victory in the war.

    Abstract:
    The article raises the issue of labor patriotism of Soviet youth during the Great Patriotic War as one of the factors of victory. The role of youth in a truly national movement is revealed, testifying to their exceptional devotion to the Fatherland. The issues of patriotic education and the successive transmission of traditions and the heroic past of our country to subsequent generations are considered. The names of the initiators of patriotic initiatives are indicated, conclusions are drawn about the significance of the movement in achieving the Great Victory. The patriotic movement of youth to provide assistance to the front is analyzed. Thanks to the established organization of work by local authorities with the active participation of young people, it was possible to use additional sources of funding for the Red Army. The work examines the patriotic movement of the younger generation, aimed at providing material assistance to the front. Labor activity has been identified that contributes to the provision of financial and material assistance, a truly national movement.

    The article emphasizes the importance of attention to the problems of education of the population in war conditions and the need for an integrated approach to solving these problems. The difficulties faced by government agencies and society as a whole in the implementation of these measures were also considered. These included a shortage of personnel, material and financial resources, as well as the destruction of infrastructure caused by the war. It is important to note that many of the considered activities and problems remain relevant in the modern educational environment, since the preservation and protection of children and their education are priorities of any society.

    The problems of everyday life during the Great Patriotic War have not been sufficiently studied as well as by historians of Chuvashia. Using the example of the analysis of documents from the GIA of the Chuvash Republic, attention is drawn to subjects related to motherhood and childhood, including medical care for pregnant women and young mothers, the organization of kindergartens and nurseries, assistance to mothers with many children and pregnant women.     The article is devoted to the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, the attitude of the people to tragic events through the prism of moral and ethical qualities, the inner world of the heroes is shown. Everyone who took part in the fighting, or was in the rear, realized that the fate of the country depended on him. The war exposes the inner content of both the individual and the ethnic community. It has been established that the moral and ethical qualities of a person during the struggle for their Fatherland can symbolize the concepts of patriotism and courage, which, undoubtedly, can become an example for the younger generation. In addition to the destruction of cities, villages, and infrastructure, tragic events also occurred with people. The story of the fate of one person in the war is refracted into the common tragedy of the whole people, according to which we trace the philosophical concepts of regularity of chance and, general and particular.

    The article is devoted to the consideration of the commemorative function of monuments to home front workers, widows and children of the Great Patriotic War, erected in the Republic of Tatarstan at the beginning of the XXI century. Based on the analysis of the images and symbols of these memorial structures, the conclusion is made about the importance of this type of commemorative practices as a tool for preserving historical memory.
