    В статье рассматривается нейропсихологический подход к формированию пространственных представлений у дошкольников с лёгкой умственной отсталостью. На основе анализа литературы отмечены особенности развития пространственных представлений при умственной отсталости. Обозначены основные принципы реализации нейропсихологического подхода к формированию пространственных представлений у детей с умственной отсталостью и приведены примеры коррекционных заданий.

    Somatognosis is a complex neuropsychological phenomenon, which is the perception of one's own body. One of the components of somatognosis is a person's awareness of the body schema. The linguistic study of the "body schema" began in the XX century. Conditionally, there are 3 stages of the study of this concept.
