- The chapter presents the etymology, analysis and correlation of the concepts of "terror" and "terrorism". In historical retrospect, the phenomena associated with terrorist acts are analyzed. The characteristic features of this phenomenon are revealed, and the question of a modern approach to understanding and interpreting the concept of "terrorism" is also raised. The authors pay attention to the issues of interdepartmental cooperation in the prevention of the ideology of extremism and terrorism in society.
