    Abstract:
    In modern psychology, much attention is paid to cognitive activity. The image of the professional future as a multicomponent construction allows the future specialist to plan his actions in the field of professional self-determination. The image of the future profession helps the student to independently determine and evaluate the level of his own professional competence. The conducted empirical research showed the absence of differences in the components of the image of the future profession of first and fourth year students.
