It is not surprising that the problem of corruption has always been the object of close attention of political scientists, sociologists, economists, legal scholars, as well as specialists in the field of interdisciplinary research. The analysis of the research by Russian scientists on the problem of corruption is presented in the article.

    Abstract:
    The article deals with the corruption that is the main problem, the conflictological component of management. The features of corruption in Russian society, which negatively affects management effectiveness, since corruption affects management structures are reviewed in the article. The author outlines that nowadays, corruption, already being systemic, has acquired a semi-legal status and has become a means of redistributing property and capital. It is noted that the basis for this is the selfish use of official powers by multilevel managers for lobbying their own interests, neglecting the interests of the state. The author believes that improving the state of modern Russian society, ensuring successful socio-economic development, raising Russia's profile in the international arena and strengthening its position in global governance is possible only through qualitative changes in governance. The measures for minimizing corruption are proposed in the article.

    Abstract:
    The authors outlines that in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, there were several discourses on the concept of corruption. It is pointed out that on the one hand, corruption was viewed in moralistic terms as a loss of virtue in relation to society; a generalized condition that randomly affects political elites and citizens. On the other hand, corruption is a narrow, legalistic view of this act as an abuse of public office for personal purposes, and, as in the modern sense corruption includes such actions as patronage, bribery, extortion and embezzlement. It is sometimes assumed that the first discourse was either unique or dominant discourse in the ancient “states”. However, this article will reveal that the problem of corruption as an abuse of power was developed in the classical period, especially in Athens and Rome. The concept of corruption in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome from the point of view of discourse and practice will be analyzed.

    В работе рассмотрена государственная политика противодействия коррупции и этапы формирования антикоррупционного законодательства в России. Дана характеристика коррупции как негативного социально-правового явления. Представлен анализ объективных и субъективных признаков преступлений коррупционной направленности, проанализированы другие формы коррупционных правонарушений. Статья содержит характеристику современной системы противодействия коррупции. Оцениваются и анализируются основные компоненты российской антикоррупционной политики, а также рассматриваются проблемы осуществления противодействия коррупции в современном российском обществе.
