- The capitalization of a company and its valuation are one of the most important factors for the successful implementation of various sustainable development strategies. The choice of methods and models for assessing the value of a company, as well as the indicators used in them, is an urgent problem in the modern domestic and global economy. Due to the fact that valuation is an integral tool in a market economy, there is an increasing need for a correct and objective assessment of the value of companies and business as a whole. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to analyze modern methods of assessing the value of the company and multipliers for assessing capitalization, as well as to provide this information to managers of Russian companies in order to choose effective strategies for sustainable development.
