    Abstract:
    The chapter presents a theoretical analysis of the concept of resistance in the context of adult learning and its connection to manifestations of subjectivity. Scientific approaches to understanding the nature of resistance have been systematized. The evolution of interpretations of resistance – from classical psychological theories to modern cognitive, motivational, and pedagogical concepts-has been traced. It is shown that resistance may function both as a barrier to learning and as an expression of autonomy, the striving to construct personal meanings of learning, and the preservation of the learner’s identity. The study proposes a conceptualization of resistance as a significant attribute of the manifestation of learner subjectivity in the context of continuing professional education. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of applying its findings and conclusions to the design of continuing professional education programs and courses, as well as to the organization of psychological and pedagogical support for adult learners within the university educational process.

    В работе делается вывод о том, что взрослый обучающийся предстает как сложный, многомерный психологический субъект, чья учебная деятельность определяется пересечением психологических, социальных, профессиональных и экзистенциальных факторов. Авторы полагают, что психологическая специфика заключается не в отдельных чертах, а в системном качестве – в субъектности, проявляющейся в стремлении к самоуправлению, прагматической ориентации, опоре на опыт и глубокой личностной вовлеченности в процесс изменений.

    Один из вопросов, который часто занимает многих руководителей, – как гарантировать, что обучение сотрудников будет иметь наибольшее влияние и максимальную отдачу от инвестиций. Ответ на этот вопрос начинается с изучения вовлеченности взрослых учащихся и понимания того, как сотрудники учатся лучше всего. Статья посвящена теориям обучения взрослых, в частности, андрагогике – концепции, популяризированной американским педагогом и ученым Малкольмом Ноулзом в 1960-х годах. Из всех теорий обучения взрослых именно теория Ноулза продолжает оставаться стержнем многих команд обучения и развития.
