    Abstract:
    The article examines the role of scientific organizations and especially the role of State Research Centers of the Russian Federation under current conditions when we need to have own competencies and basic technologies in the most critical sectors of the economy for nation's technological security. The article presents statistical analysis of scientific organizations and Scientific Research Centers of the Russian Federation by the type of scientific activity and departmental affiliation (branches of economy).
