- Analysis of the psychological aspects of the formation of patriotism in modern Russia is associated with the need to take into account the maximum number of factors in the successful educational policy of the state. Among the basic ideas of the author are the following: interethnic tolerance is formed only on the basis of national identity; patriotism begins with respect for one's nation, one's people; it is necessary to take into account the laws of formation of optimal tolerance; patriotism is a consequence of the presence in the structure of personal characteristics of optimal interethnic tolerance.
