- The transformation of the external environment of organizations requires them to adapt to new business trends in order to maintain competitive advantages and obtain positive economic results. In this regard, the development strategy of the organization is a structured long-term management plan, following which the organization is able to strengthen its market position and operate in an ever-changing external environment. The ongoing transformation of market conditions, associated with both the post-pandemic effect and the volatile foreign policy situation, requires even more attention from companies to assess alternatives to strategic development. The purpose of the study is to justify the mechanism for assessing and choosing priorities for the strategic development of the organization of the sea transportation service. Research methods include systematic and strategic analysis, comparative review, expert assessments. The work justifies the mechanism for assessing and choosing alternatives to the strategic development of the enterprise in the field of marine transportation services as a universal tool for making management decisions.
