    Abstract:
    The article examines the system of state control of the Russian Federation over foreign trade operations in national currencies with the BRICS countries. The key instruments of currency and customs regulation used to ensure economic security and stability of financial flows are analyzed. The main problems associated with exchange rate volatility and asymmetry of regulatory frameworks are identified. Promising directions for improving control mechanisms in the context of de-dollarization of the world economy are substantiated.

    The monograph presents and describes the national currencies of most countries of the world. The first chapter reveals the definitions of such concepts as: currency, types of currencies, convertibility of currencies, exchange rate and exchange rate parity. The role of the foreign exchange market as one of the financial institutions in the economy of the country is shown. The next six chapters are devoted to the peculiarities of the currencies of different countries, grouped by territoriality and belonging to one or another community or union. The monograph is recommended for schoolchildren, students of higher educational institutions and all those who are interested in national currencies of different countries of the world.
