  • Methods of sign language pedagogical examination as a means of studying and evaluating students' mental abilities

    Abstract:
    The chapter presents the experience of qualitative assessment of students' mental abilities during the use of certain methods of sign language pedagogical examination of children with low results in educational activities. A clinical case is described in detail in the work of specialists of the territorial psychological, medical and pedagogical commission of the Nizhneudinsky district municipality, demonstrating the key symptoms of mental retardation due to the child's impairments in the third functional block of the brain – planning, programming, triggering, control and correction. The use of the basic principle of the pathopsychological experiment «qualitative analysis of the studied mental disorders», described by the founder of pathopsychology B. V. Zeigarnik, is demonstrated. A specific example reflects learning disabilities and the personal component of a student's thinking: criticality and self-regulation.

Дается описание методических аспектов проведения практических занятий, посвященных изучению и отработке жестов, относящихся к общеупотребительной лексике. Предлагается ряд заданий, направленных на закрепление навыков показа речевых жестов обучающимися по следующим тематическим разделам: «Знакомство», «Внешность».

    Abstract:
    The article deals with the introduction of sign language into the educational process and its influence on the development of cognitive abilities. It is established that limitation in the use of sign language at school leads to the deterioration of the quality of education. The results of the analysis of literary sources and practical cases of using sign language in the educational process testify to the increase of positively influence the development of their cognitive abilities.

    В работе рассматриваются важность и необходимость психологического сопровождения в эпоху информатизации и информатизации образования для начинающих переводчиков жестового языка, так как данная профессия требует не только высокой квалификации, но и психологической компетентности. В статье излагаются основные психологические трудности, с которыми сталкиваются начинающие переводчики жестового языка. Содержание работы будет полезным для разработки программ и методов психологической поддержки для начинающих переводчиков жестового языка.
