    The chapter examines patriotism in the paradigm of psychological sciences as a significant personality property and a fundamental property of the professional personality of specialists in international relations. The author analyses the concept of professional personality, focusing on the most significant aspects of the formation of the professional personality in the field of international relations. Particular attention is paid to patriotism as a significant personality property and the process of formation of patriotism as an integral property of the professional personality. The author emphasises the importance of patriotism both as a fundamental property of the professional personality and as a driver of international relations.
