    Abstract:
    This chapter examines the development of the Mir payment system and its impact on Russia's national payment infrastructure. Its relevance stems from the need to ensure the financial stability of the Russian economy through the development of a national payment card system. The authors discuss the conditions for payment systems to be considered nationally significant, the development and evolution of the Mir payment system, and measures to enhance the Mir payment system's influence as an element of the country's financial infrastructure. An analysis of the current operation of this payment system is provided, identifying its strengths and weaknesses and identifying areas for improvement. It demonstrates that the Mir NSPK has transformed from a risk management tool into a central element of Russia's digital economy.

Статья также касается технологических инноваций, внедренных в НПС, и их влияния на обеспечение безопасности и доступности финансовых операций. Авторами подчеркивается ключевая роль Национальной Платежной Системы в развитии финансовой стабильности и финансовой инклюзии в России.
