- The article presents information about the conditions of Soviet camps in the Vologda region, about the stay of prisoners of war in them and about the use of their labor during the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the Soviet Union. In addition, the humane attitude of Soviet citizens to captured soldiers and officers is noted.
