    Abstract:
    В статье обобщаются актуальные представления о состоянии надзора за исполнением законов о противодействии экстремизму и терроризму. Делается вывод о том, что профилактическая работы органов прокуратуры с очевидностью требует как минимум разрешения организационных вопросов, связанных с оценкой трудоемкости надзорной деятельности, продолжения активной работы по правовому просвещению граждан, повышения уровня технической оснащенности прокуроров и др.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the study was to identify the problematic area of activity of state authorities to counter terrorism among the population in the Primorsky Territory. As a result of the study, it was found that the ongoing preventive measures to counter terrorism among the population of the region are not able to reduce the number of registered crimes of a terrorist nature. Based on the results obtained, it is recommended that the state program of Primorsky Krai «Safe Land» include measures related to monitoring the situation, identifying and eliminating factors that contribute to the emergence and spread of the ideology of terrorism.

    Нам представилось возможным в настоящей публикации остановиться на изучении психологических особенностей поведения и состояния личности, вовлеченной в террористическую деятельность. Известно, что террористическая деятельность является особо опасной антисоциальной, преступной. Организация профилактики и противодействия терроризму могут быть основаны на понимании социально-психологических механизмов поведения личности террориста. Не менее важно, на наш взгляд, для успешного противодействия террористической деятельности обладание достаточно сформированной профессиональной компетентностью в области психологической диагностики личности террориста у представителей правоохранительных органов, вовлеченных в систему этого противодействия.

    Abstract:
    The article emphasizes that the fight against extremism and terrorism, as a complex problem, has become one of the priorities in the fight against crime for states at the global and regional levels. The level of development of legal acts in the field of countering extremism and terrorism, the severity of punishment for crimes of extremist and terrorist orientation in some countries are analyzed. It is concluded that in modern legislation of different countries, there is no single approach to the definition of the concepts of "terrorism" and "extremism", there is no uniform approach to the system and types of punishments. The proposal on the expediency of a uniform definition of the concepts: “terrorism”, “terrorist”, “international terrorist activity”, unification of national legislation in the field of combating extremism and terrorism as a factor of international security is substantiated
