    Abstract:
    Numerous imbalances in socio-economic development in the regions of the Russian Federation require the resolution of rather acute issues and long-overdue problems. This area is not only relevant, but also in demand by the times. The author uses empirical research on project management in Moscow and the Moscow Region to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of this process in the social sphere. Through a multifactorial analysis, new threats and opportunities for further development are identified, and recommendations for growth dynamics are provided for the medium and long term. The material can be equally useful for both theorists and practitioners who are engaged in solving the problems of socioeconomic development of territories.

  • Problems and prospects for the development of the Far North territories in Russia

    Abstract:
    This article identifies pressing development issues in the Far North and explores potential solutions. The study focuses on the Magadan and Murmansk regions, as well as Kamchatka Krai. It identifies a declining contribution of Far North regions to the total GRP, unstable dynamics in the share of mineral extraction in total industrial output, and a growing labor shortage. Other relevant issues include deterioration of public utility infrastructure, an underdeveloped transportation network, and a lack of diversification of development models. Promising avenues for addressing these issues and accelerating the socioeconomic development of the selected Far North regions are proposed.

    Abstract:
    This article presents the statistics of the development of Chuvash Republic’s educational system, describes the modern state of general (preschool, school) education. The article also describes current problems of educational system on different levels and lists possible solutions of those problems. Main attention is given to the fact that balanced development of regional systems of education is a key factor of forming unified educational system in Russian Federation. Author gives his own point of view on the creation of conditions for preservation and development of Russian people’s native languages. Special attention was given to the problems of development of system of the continuous education of teachers.
