- Abstract:
- The article examines the psychophysiological mechanisms of developing speed endurance in academic rowers of the 2nd sports rank at a distance of 1000 meters on a Concept2 ergometer. The results of a 6-week pedagogical experiment with the participation of 30 athletes are presented. The effectiveness of integrating ideomotor training (IMT) and stress resistance methods into the traditional training process is substantiated. A training plan (4 workouts per week) aimed at optimizing motor programs and overcoming "central fatigue" has been developed and tested. It is proven that targeted psychological training contributes to a more effective realization of speed potential under conditions of severe lactate stress.
